Persistent Symptoms in Celiac Disease: Why Don’t I Feel Better?

In this session, we’ll explore common reasons why individuals with celiac disease may continue to experience symptoms despite following a gluten-free diet. This practical and supportive webinar will help you better understand what might be contributing to persistent symptoms and what next steps to consider.

Dr. Francisco Echague an Argentinian physician, trained in Clinical Gastroenterology at Hospital Udaondo, with academic degree from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and certification from the Argentine Society of Gastroenterology. Currently completing his third year of fellowship at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, under the supervision of Dr. David Armstrong, with additional mentorship from Dr. Inés Pinto-Sánchez, and Dr. Siwar Albashir. Dr. Echague’s training includes applied nutrition in gastroenterology and intestinal ultrasound for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). His clinical and academic interests focus on celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal insufficiencies, and comprehensive gastrointestinal care.
