Margherita Pizza

Indulge in a classic Italian favorite with a healthy twist! This gluten-free Margherita pizza features Oggi’s renowned cauliflower crust, offering a light and crispy base that’s both nutritious and delicious. Topped with a rich tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, and fragrant basil leaves, each bite delivers a perfect balance of flavors.

    Ingredients

    • OGGI’s Award Winning Cauliflower Crust
    • Extra virgin olive oil 
    • Garlic 
    • Tomato paste 
    • Salt & pepper
    • Canned crushed tomatoes 
    • Dried oregano 
    • Fresh basil 
    • Salt and pepper 
    • Fresh mozzarella (3 oz.) 
    • Parmesan 
    • Basil

    Instructions

    Remove Oggi’s cauliflower crust from the freezer and let thaw for approximately 5–7 minutes.

    Slice fresh mozzarella and remove excess moisture.

    Sauté diced garlic in a saucepan for 1–2 minutes or until golden brown on medium heat.

    Stir in tomato paste and let cook for approximately 2 minutes while continuing to stir.

    Turn the heat to low and stir in crushed tomatoes.

    Season to taste with oregano, salt, pepper, and basil.

    Top Oggi’s pizza crust with extra virgin olive oil, pizza sauce, sliced mozzarella and shredded parmesan.

    Preheat the oven to 450ª F.

    Place pizza in the oven and bake at for 12–16 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. The exact time will vary depending on your oven or cooking equipment.

    Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool down.

    Top with some fresh basil. Slice, serve and ENJOY!
