These burgers are always a hit. Try them on a gluten-free bun or make the patties half-sized and serve with a lemon-dill dipping sauce as an appetizer or snack option.
Try making these with tuna for a tasty alternative.
Makes 4 patties.
Ingredients
2 tins (170g) salmon or tuna, drained
1/3 cup (80 ml) celery, finely chopped
1/3 cup (80 ml) relish
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup (250 ml) gluten-free breadcrumbs
2 green onions, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Canola oil, for cooking

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.

Shape into 4 patties.

In a non-stick pan, heat about 2 tablespoons of oil. Cook patties until both sides are golden brown – about 3 minutes per side.
